Some people describe the feel and feed back as grippy but I would say:

These daddies of all leather sliders are left and right handed, they are made of several layers of leather and then they are sculpted by machine and by hand into this lovely globulous shape and then finished to a high polish.
They are then painted, using 40 coats of paints and lacquer! All of this takes a long time, and is simply crazy as you are likely to just abuse them anyway, but damn, don’t they look good? They look even better when they are scuffed up, if you can bring yourself to do it to them.

Black Leather Slider.
I think a quick note about leather, as a material for sliders here would be useful.
I love it - but others hate it - and that is the point, you really need to try them at some point because if you love them you will really love them and if you don’t like them, well, don’t buy any more.
